Compare and make your choice. You do this for shoes, cars, jobs, potential mates, and anything else you will commit to. This section organizes and compares different belief systems, so whatever worldview you choose to stand on, the decision will be well-informed.

Here’s what we’ve covered so far:

1. The worldview beliefs we all base our lives on will impact us in the most serious way and therefore deserve equally serious attention.
2. Truth about what worldview beliefs fit reality exists and can be known through the same methods we have used naturally since childhood.
3. The evidence is available.
4. Because different worldviews contradict each other on foundational points, by the law of noncontradiction, only one, at most, can fit reality and be supported by reality (and therefore, through evidence in science, philosophy, theology, history, personal experience, mathematics, etc.) on a level no other belief can reach.

So what does this mean for you?

Only the one belief, as noted above, can be counted upon to lead you to the best, most reliable results, while those not founded on reality will guide you at times during life, and possibly eternally, into consequences you did not seek or expect.

2. What solid reasons do you have for affirming why you know this belief system is accurate and the alternatives are not?
3. Do you know what this means for you?

Your answer entirely depends on the belief system you chose. While there may be similarities between different belief systems, it is the differences that make all the difference.
